I really enjoyed this book. Besides, my friends marry and within a year they already have heirs. But the plan has backfired. Venetia had entirely forgotten the piece of paper she’d caught. But soon, in the darkess of his cabin, bbeauty her heavy veil, with blindfolded eyes and murmured conversations after bousts of lovemaking, they discover thier true selves.
While I didn’t like Venetia or Christian for most of the book, by the end I wasn’t ready for the book to be over. This is one of the many reasons why I love your books and will keep buying them despite not loving this particular book.
When it all falls apart–less a big misunderstanding and more a big understanding–it is also dealt with in a convincing way and all character vulnerabilities melt away in favor of their regular defensive modes.
